• SMOKING/TOBACCO/VAPE: PROHIBITED WITHIN 500 FEET OF THE SCHOOL:

  It is against state and federal law at a school funded all or in part by tax dollars.  Furthermore, with a new daycare and preschool below our facility, smoking is not acceptable on or near AAHS property.  AAHS staff care deeply about student health and set policies that encourage against the use of tobacco products or drug paraphernalia.  The official policy is that smoking by AAHS students is prohibited within a 500 foot radius of the school.  Students witnessed smoking by staff or community members within this radius will be considered smoking on school grounds and subject to applicable consequences.
